I am experiencing issues/problems with the online registration process: If you are having problems registering, please use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, and make sure that your browser is enabled for cookies. If you are still having technical problems, please contact us.

Can I register by mail or phone? Not recommended but yes, technically you can. All registrations are completed online, so that means we will register online for you if you can’t do it yourself. If you need help, don't be afraid to give us a call at: 1-866-844-1483.

I want to race on Sunday, but only Saturday is open to register. Saturday's race registration is opened up before we add Sunday’s. If you click the registration link and only see Saturday, we have not reached a full enough amount for Saturday to justify opening the Sunday race. Stay tuned!

I think I am registered, but I’m not sure. How do I check? Contact us and we’ll let you know.

Where can I find my confirmation? The Confirmation Code is printed on the ticket that we emailed you after registering (be sure to check your spam folder if you are unable to locate your confirmation email, and/or search TicketLeap). You will need this ticket when you pick up your registration packet as Doomsday Staff will scan the bar code.

What do I bring on Race Day? Besides proper running gear, you will need to bring your Registration Ticket that was emailed to you, Government ID, the filled out copy of the waiver but Do Not Sign it! You will want to bring cash as there will be limited ATMs available.

How competitive is Doomsday Dash? Oh, Boy! Our participants generally fall into one of two categories: easygoing weekend warrior types and fierce competitors. If you are the competitive type, make sure to sign up for our competitive heat (10:30am). If you just want to run to have fun, no worries! Competitive or not, all participants are encouraged to help each other complete the race course.

What is the wave start time system? Waves of 200 athletes will be released every 30 minutes. Race against the best and join the Competitive Heat. This is the first adult heat of the day at 10:30am. Heats for all other racers start every 30 minutes. Make sure you register early to be guaranteed a time slot in your preferred heat.  If the heat does not show as “available” then it has sold out.

How does Doomsday Dash compare to other races? With 20+ unique apocalyptic obstacles, our race is a true challenge, and not just a friendly mud run with a few measly obstacles like some other events. Between 5-7km, depending on layout, our event is the perfect blend of distance and obstacles. Unlike most races in Ontario that are mainly on a ski hill, this event is on a beautiful lakeside property with rolling hills, open fields and woodlands.

What will I need to do when I arrive at the race? Proper footwear, waiver filled out but not signed, and a valid registration either printed or you can also show the bar code on a mobile device such as a cell phone or IPAD. Government issued ID is also required.

How old do I have to be to participate? You must be 13 years old on event day to participate. If you are under 18 on race day, you must arrive to our event with your race waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Can friends and family come? You’d be crazy not to bring them! Who do you think is going to take that Facebook shot of you jumping over fire or crawling under barbed wire? There is plenty of fun, food and drinks to keep your spectators having a good time. Spectators are encouraged to register online at a discounted rate. They can also show up the day of the event with CASH only. Please check your event page for pricing details.

Do you charge a parking fee? We charge $10 per vehicle. Most choose to carpool so that the cost per person is minimal. (Hint: carpool). But on the plus side, parking is very close to the race, so no need to be bused from miles away!

Can I switch wave times? Wherever possible, participants are assigned to the closest available start time that they requested when registering for the event. However, due to demand and time of registration, participants may find that they are not in the start group time they had requested. Please do not contact us requesting a time change. At the time of registration, all participants agreed that their preferred wave times are not guaranteed. TEAMS and groups – if members of the same team or group are assigned to different start times, the entire team is permitted to join the latest start time assigned to a team member. Participants may not move forward in start times.

Do I have to sign a waiver to participate? Yes. You can download the waiver from the DOWNLOADS page.

Can I get a refund? We do not issue refunds under any circumstance, except for any active military member unable to attend due to military duty may receive a refund upon providing official documentation regarding the deployment that conflicts with the event.

I forgot to apply my discount. Unfortunately, we are unable to retroactively process discounts after the registration process.

Can I get a military or emergency services discount? We provide discounts for active-duty military, police, fire fighters, and EMS personnel, but be prepared to show your military or emergency services ID when you pick up your packet. *Unfortunately, we are unable to retroactively process discounts after the registration process.

What’s the best way to prepare for Doomsday? Stock lots of water, food, and condoms! Oh, you were meaning the race... Some follow strict diets and workout routines. Others eat chips and start drinking beer at noon every day. It’s a matter of preference!

Do I have to be in great shape to participate? That depends. We don’t have a problem with people walking the course or taking a casual approach to the race, and some people do. However, if you want a great time or to win a competitive heat, you will need to be an advanced athlete.

What should I wear? Normal running clothes, but keep in mind that you will be climbing, ducking and diving and that you will get wet and muddy. From personal experience wear tight underwear!

What should I bring for after the event? Bring dry clothes that suit the weather of the event day. It sucks to be too cold/hot when your friends want to stick around after the race. Also, don’t forget your party pants.

Is there a gear check area? Yes! We have an optional gear check available at our events for $2 cash/coin.

Where can I find driving directions? You can find driving directions by visiting the FIND US - MAP page.

Can we add people to our team? Yep. You can add as many people as you want to a team until registration is sold out.

Do all team members have to sign up at the same time?: Recommended but nope. Team members can sign up independently, whenever registration is open. However, make sure to choose the correct registration time and enter the proper team name when registering. Also, team members may pay different amounts from one another since prices go up closer to the event.
